Frequently Asked Questions

Can I listen to the band?
You can listen to the samples on this website.

Can we come and see you live?
We occasionally play public events and can sometimes arrange for access to a suitable private function.

How much does it cost to hire the band?
Contact us for a quote. Please include the date and location of your function and any other relevant details.

When is payment due?
A 20% deposit will book your date, and the balance is due 7 days before the event.

What else should we provide?
The musicians will require a hot meal and drinks during performance.
We will also need access to a reliable power supply!

What are different line-ups can you provide?
When we provide a quote we will tell you how much the different sizes of band cost so you can choose a line-up according to your requirements and budget.

If you are not sure what size band you will need, just ask us. 

How long do you play for?
We usually play for two and a half hours in 1, 2 or 3 sets.  Please let us know if your requirements are different.

Do you play recorded music during your breaks?
Yes, we play music from CD. If you prefer you can provide your own CD’s.

Can you play at our wedding ceremony/drinks reception/dinner as well as providing music for the evening?
Yes, this is something we do regularly. Please email us with your requirements. We are happy to provide all your musical requirements from solo piano to a full band.

How much space do you need?
The largest area we need will be approximately 6m x 3m. We are used to smaller spaces too.  If there is a staged area, it helps, but it isn't essential.  We can also play outside, but will need to be under cover in case of rain.

How long do you take to set up?
We usually need at least an hour to set up.  If you would like us to set-up well before the event this is usually possible but may involve a small extra 'waiting fee'.

Where will you play?
We are happy to travel anywhere, but the fee may reflect travelling time and accommodation requirements.

What do I need to do to book?
Just fill out a booking form and send it to us with a 20% deposit by cheque.
